Attention Parents of Kids 6-9 Years Old

We are starting our 2nd year of our Robotics Club at the Spartanburg Science Center! First meeting is September 12, 2016 from 4:30pm-6:00pm.  We meet twice a month on Mondays.  If your child loves Legos and Robotics…this is the club for them!  Dues are $40/month and they have a chance to be on a Jr. Lego Robotic Team if they desire.  Fun and learning all rolled into one.  Call and place your child’s name on the list.  Space is limited.

Owl Prowl at the Cottonwood Trail

Meet at 6:30 pm on Saturday, February 18th to call for owls on the Cottonwood Trail at the Edwin M. Griffin Nature Preserve in Spartanburg, SC. Park at the Beechwood Drive entrance to the Cottonwood Trail. Dr. Jon Storm from USC Upstate will lead the hike and talk about local owls. The event will last from 6:30 – 7:15 pm, weather permitting. Please remember to bring your own flashlights.  There is a suggested donation of $3 for adults and it is free for children and members of the Spartanburg Science Center and SPACE. 100% of the proceeds will go towards educational programs at the Spartanburg Science Center.
