Animals Depend on People Too

The John F. Green Spartanburg Science Center is home to more than 40 animals, all of which are used for educational programs and/or exhibits. Many of them are non-releasable, wild animals. Others are domestic animals that were obtained through rescue groups or individuals.

The Spartanburg Science Center’s Adopt-An-Animal Program is a sponsorship program in which participants make a donation to assist with the care of the Science Centers’ animals. Your tax-deductible, symbolic adoption will be used for food, veterinary care, enrichment items, habitat improvements, and grooming supplies.

Thank you for considering adopting one or more of our animals.
