If you’re looking for a fun activity for your kids while school is out, from December 19-21, we’re going to be having day camps at the science center for 5K – 5th grade students.

On Monday, December 19th, we’re having STEM Grab Bag, where we’ll have a variety of different experiments, activities with magnets, and some engineering activities, including a Lego challenge build session.

On Tuesday, December 20th, the theme is I’m Not Afraid of the Dark – we’ll have Starlab programs, and lessons on space, caves (and some of the animals that live in them), and the deep ocean, as well as showing some glow in the dark animals and minerals.

For Wednesday, December 21st, the theme is Animals – we’ll talk about Reptiles, Amphibians, Sharks, Dinosaurs, Invertebrates, Animal Intelligence – whatever the kids want to learn about! Kids will get to hold or touch a variety of animals, watch some videos, and enjoy some other animal-related activities.

Camps will be offered in morning or afternoon half sessions from 9:00 – 12:00 and 1:00 – 4:00 for $20 a session/child, or $35 for a full day (please remember to pack a lunch for your child for all-day sessions!)

Please reserve your space by contacting Mary at (864) 583-2777 – space is limited! Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you!
