Thanks to a generous gift from Contec Inc, the Center provides a 675 sq foot space that is home to the Contec Children’s STEM LAB which hosts several programs for our littlest learners including Stepping into STEM, STEM Storytime, and Standards-Based programs.
Our live animal room is home to nearly 100 individual animals across more than 40 species of reptiles, amphibians, fish, and invertebrates. We are Spartanburg County’s premier provider of hands-on animal-based education opportunities. Animal care tracking software generously provided by Husbandry Pro
Thanks to a generous gift from Milliken & Co. the Science Center has a space adjacent to the museum for extended programming and community meetings. The Milliken Learning Space hosts summer camps, after school robotics club, sessions for lifelong learners, and much more! A beautiful mural was created for the space by local artist Jeremy Kemp.
